Hello all.

Is anyone else interested in hosting the SIG-Embedded meetings, and chairing the discusions?

It has been my pleasure, and a privillage to setup and help run the SIG-Embedded meetings. Along the way, we've had awesome contributions and conversations with folks from Siemens (of course), Bosch, Schneider Electric, Aptiv, Woven (Toyota), Collins Aerospace (part of RTX), Amazon, Intel, Midokura (Sony) and Xiaomi.

All this was done with the amazing support of the Byetcode Alliance - a big thank you to the TSC and the board for helping us set this all up.

There was a SIG-Embedded meeting today, and I think this all just fell through the cracks. -- Siemens is no longer a member of the Bytecode Alliance. This means that I no longer have access to the tools required to host the Embedded Special Interest Group (Zoom, Youtube for uploads, Git for meeting notes etc).

The WALI SIG-Embedded would need a new chair to continue the discussions. If you are interested in taking up this role, please do reach out to David Bryant, or Oscar Spencer at the Bytecode Alliance. I am sure they would be more than happy to help. It would be awesome if we could keep the Embedded SIG going, and of course Siemens would be happy to contribute to a future SIG, assuming we can find a new chair and host.

Siemens is still an active community member in Wasm and will remain part of the W3C and will participate in the discussions on WebAssembly, and will work with the WAMR team and the WAMR runtime.

All the best,
Chris
