Hi all! Following up on last week's conversation about an onboarding landing page for Wasm I/O & KubeCon (likely on wasi.dev), I'd like to nail down some basic process/fundamentals so we can talk about content in the next meeting. Are there any objections to 1) using HackMD to collaborate on drafting and 2) targeting wasi.dev for the page?
yes please - wasi.dev no longer actually builds, so you'll need to start from scratch there, but theres not much to overcome in order to do so - the little useful content there can be ported to a new template, or whatever
i did a little work at the start of the year to try to get it building again but i havent written ruby since the bush administration so i gave up
bailey and i wrote this up as part of trying to reboot wasi.dev late last year. it may be useful, or maybe not, up to you https://gist.github.com/pchickey/2de6b682c0f7c2464c719e260e6901dc
Given the timeline, would it be worth setting up a simple MD book for now for that URL?
@Eric Gregory a HackMD would be a great starting place to scope out content. Would you be willing to get one started and share out a link?
From there, we could create a branch/fork of the repo with a draft structure and content.
I can see this being the main topic for the next meeting.
@Kate Goldenring No problem, I'll share that out shortly -- and thanks @Pat Hickey for both the doc and the background!

Put down some initial thoughts -- we can discuss Wednesday but feel free to add/subtract/modify/comment in the meantime!
