Removing async works, that was actually an early version of the thing I am building. I introduced async out of necessity, I want the host to implement a function that fetches some text from a Url. In case of node this can only be done async.

But thanks a lot for the info! I'll just wait for async to be implemented properly in jco, or maybe I can look into helping out with this.
