Seeing the recent updates on #525 from @Zalim Bashorov (Kotlin_, JetBrains) and @Simon Binder - it feels like Dart, Kotlin/Wasm, and @Justin Fagnani's Zena are all hitting the exact same walls w/ linear-memory copies and lack of finalizers.
Calling in @Jim Teichgräber too since I saw your work on https://github.com/Kotlin/wit-bindgen
Before we bug the Wasmtime / spec folks, I'd LOVE to compare notes here and see if we agree on what would unblock us most right now (like the finalizer / weakref builtins Simon offered to help spec, or slices, or #383 lazy lowering).
