I presented at the semi-annual gathering of core devs on the status of WASI and to ask the room some questions. The key thing for this group is:
Everyone is generally happy with what I'm doing
People still view WASI as niche
I'm making a WASI-specific dev container for CPython
I can create binaries for releases (once #SIG-Guest-Languages > Python Enhancement Proposals (PEPs) for WASI is done), and I can make them look however I want (@Luke Wagner suggested a component with a CLI binary that used the component which would mean getting WASI 0.3 support since I currently only support p1 and Luke suggested skipping 0.2 at this point)
