Topic: Relying on wasm-gc for Python 3.16

https://github.com/python/cpython/pull/158617 uses wasm-gc. I assume it's not an issue since WASI SDK has had support since WASI SDK 31, but I thought I would bring it up just in case.

seems reasonable to me! One point of note is that while Wasmtime has implemented wasm-gc for some time it was only enabled by default in 47.0.0 released in July 2026. Not a problem, but the date and wasmtime version mentioned in the OP aren't quite accurate

I just double-checked and we are running wasmtime 48.0.2 everywhere.
