Topic: New Subgroup Interest

There's active work on Go language bindings in wit-bindgen and @Mossaka (Joe) is interested in working with people in the ecosystem to improve and extend that support.

Some discussion related to this is happening on GitHub in a wit-bindgen issue. If we have some interest in collaborating on Go language support and discussing the path forward for Go, we can easily create a subgroup in the Guest Languages SIG to bring people together with very light process & overhead.

If you'd want to be a part of a Go languages subgroup, react, reply, or message me and we'll go from there!

I am raising this issue to create a place for discussing various ways we can improve the ergonomics of the Go bindings. When I was writing the wit-bindgen-go crate, I admit that I didn't pay enough...

I've put discussing new subgroups on the agenda for our next main group meeting (July 25th).
FYI that our meetings are open to the public and you can find out how to join here.
