This thread will encapsulate the JS Subgroup meetings (discussion/planned agenda).
If we note an upcoming meeting here and we do not gather any topics for the agenda, the meeting will be cancelled.
The next JS meeting will be on September 2nd 2026. If you have any topics for the meeting, please comment them below!
Looks like there aren't any specific things to discuss for the JS meeting this week, will cancel if no one has anything in particular!
Note that changes & releases for Jco and related projects are still going out (lots of bugfixes and features over the last couple weeks), so those are still a great place to keep up.
The next JS meeting will be on September 16th 2026.

As usual, changes & releases for Jco and related projects are still going out (lots of new features in the last few weeks, particularly NodeJS support), so watching the repos is a great way to keep up!

I just noticed that the date is a bit incorrect for the next meeting! It should be the 29th*
That said if anyone has any topics for the meeting, this would be the time to pop them in here.

As usual changes & release for Jco and related projects are going out -- over the last week we handled a bucnh of security advisories that were reported, so that's probably the biggest change to look out for.
The next JS meeting will be on October 14th 2026.

The release train for jco (which includes p2-shim, p3-shim, jco-std, jco-transpile and jco proper) is going out right now with a bunch of correctness fixes for bindgen and security fixes for preview2-shim (thanks @Till Schneidereit !) and also useful helpers for p2-shim and fixes (thanks @Eduardo Rodrigues !).
Hey all, a quick update here, the meeting today is cancelled in favor of the plumber's summit:
Please attend there if you can (some nice JS ecosystem news will be announced!)
