Lann Martin (Aug 02 2025 at 15:13):Resources are passed by reference, which has a bit of bookkeeping overhead but should be "plenty fast" for most purposes. The tradeoff is that you can only do things with the resource by making method calls to the component (or the host) that owns the resource.
