I have a usecase where I only have deps and no own wit files, so I would like to use a wit/deps directory without a wit file in wit/, but I have to add a wit file with a package line to wit/ to make it work, is that known?

Currently you need to add a dummy *.wit file and https://github.com/bytecodealliance/wasm-tools/issues/1462 is the issue for relaxing this
