Hi all, I was watching the presentation of this month's work at the bca community meeting and there was a one-liner about working on typescript. My team is also working on typescript-->wasi/component support. I'd love to understand what you're after, and will share where we are, too!
@Ralph Great to see common interest in this work. How about schedule an online meeting for sharing?
sure! you wanna schedule one, or should I? morning your time, or evening?
https://doodle.com/meeting/participate/id/e99YXqZe @Ralph I created a group poll for the meeting time.
This meeting is also open to anyone who is interested. Just drop me an email at xin.wang@intel.com for the meeting invitation.
dropped a couple of times in there! look forward to it.
Hi, are there any meeting notes or progress reported publicly?
there should be! was a good chat, though we I don't think had any specific steps to take, rather a lot of thoughts and tests.
I see, thanks. I'm also quite interested in a high level approach for that, so if there are any documents about that or somebody could share it here, that'd be great.
lemme see what I can scare up from the event. You're right to ask!!!
Thanks a lot @Ralph :)
@Marcin Kolny we are going to propose a ts2wasm sig. We can talk about it in the upcoming wamr tsc meeting.
Awesome, thanks
Hi @Wang Xin , would you be able to share any details on the progress of the ts2wasm? I'd be really interested to see the most recent update. Many thanks :)
I just looked at the branch: https://github.com/bytecodealliance/wasm-micro-runtime/tree/ts2wasm_experiment but it no longer exists.
@Marcin Kolny It is still under some internal process for open sourcing. It should be be opened sourced in the Q3. The development is ongoing and the progress is pretty exciting.
