Hi Everyone,

We would like to build on all the great progress made in 2024 and revive the machine learning working group meeting that has been owned by Andrew Brown. The meeting has been on a short pause, but the group has been immensely valuable for discussing wasi-nn topics, weighing use case requirements, getting a sense for timelines for deployment, and in general shaping the wasi-nn specification to the state that it is now, which seems very close to moving to stage 3. Now is the time to regroup, close remaining issues, and move forward, in addition to discussing any other relevant topics here. This email is to confirm a good day and time that we can all meet to reconvene. If you can, please indicate the time that best fits your schedule here: https://calendly.com/d/cn43-bnz-cfm/machine-learning-working-group, so that we may restart this series.

Thanks!

We want to build on all the great progress made in 2024 by reviving the machine learning working group meeting which has had a short pause. Please choose an option for an initial day and time to meet.

BTW .. only 4 options are given for times. If none of those times work for you and you are interested in attending meetings in the future please let me know.

A few of you have recently responded on times this week, with Wed at 9:15am PT or 10:00am PT being the best times. To better prepare the agenda and allow a few more to join we will go ahead and tenatively schedule the sync, but for next week (6/11) at 9:15am PT. This assumes most of you can make it at the same time a week later. I'll forward the meeting link later. The agenda is here: https://github.com/bytecodealliance/meetings/tree/main/machine-learning. If you have agenda items, please update the agenda directly.

Hi Justin .. it has been dormant for the past couple of months, yet we do very much still have an agenda that needs to move forward. We do expect to continue with the collaboration of this meeting, it's just a question of timing for doing that. Let me ping you directly for some more context.
