Those changes sound great! I'm also kinda unhappy with the rest of the state of SIMD in the intepreter so I also wanted to look into refactoring it before moving forward too much.

@jameysharp It looks like some shift tests were added to
simd-arithmetic.clifin the mean time, I've moved them into separate files because the interpreter is still broken on those operations.Since this isn't a typo fix or anything like that would you be able to review again (these changes are in the latest commit)?

I don't know what happened there with the merge queue so I'm gonna put this back in and assume it was a fluke.
