I'm eager to see these tools. I've long wanted to do something like this for cg_clif showing mir, clif ir (before and after optimizations) and disassembly for individual functions in a nice way. Would it be possible to make it somewhat generic such that I can build a backend for cg_clif? If that is too much effort, I understand.

@bjorn3 there is a ton that could be built here, but I want to just get the smallest thing working that I can for now, and then we can evolve it from there.
