We're already exposed to such churn with the cap-std family of crates having moved, so this doesn't really move the needle on that at all.

Windows-sys previously had a lot of churn, but it's much more stable now; see this comment. Also, mio 0.8.3 uses windows-sys, and wasmtime is currently on 0.8.2 so we'll soon have another transitive dependency on windows-sys.
