OutOfMemoryis not actually returned in some cases, even if OOM were hit. This is due to how the implementation currently works and the intention here is to document reality rather than changing reality to match the documentation which is expected to be more onerous without much benefit. If embedders/users want to catch this condition, however, it's possible to plumb the errors as such from internally.<!--
