This commit fixes an issue where when a new host function was inserted
into the store if an OOM happened between twopush-es on different
vectors it could leave the store in an inconsistent state with using the
wrongVMFuncRef. The fix here is to ensure that this is a bit more
transactional where the entire function succeeds or fails rather than
only partially succeeding.
