From Google Books, it looks as if the -rr- spelling was more common in the nineteenth century and earlier. There are a small number of contemporary hits for -rr-, but they are vastly outweighed by the spelling with one R.
From a bit of research, either way is fine though.

Thanks, its nice to have all these fixed and even nicer that there is a tool for automating this sort of toil. The
typoscrate docs says that false positives are low enough to run as part of PR CI checks. Would you mind adding that to our CI as part of this PR? Worst case, if it gets to be a burden, we can turn it off and come up with some other way to periodically clean the repo up.
