As discussed in SIG Registries meeting earlier today, we came to a conclusion that https://github.com/bytecodealliance/wit-deps should eventually output and take as input Wasm components. @Peter Huene @Luke Wagner could you take a look at https://github.com/bytecodealliance/wit-deps/issues/25 (and check if that aligns with what you had in mind)?

I've added a comment with some feedback. The gist being that generating a component from the wit deps and current wit is the most important part and you can probably split this into phases.
