Victor Adossi (Sep 20 2023 at 01:57):It's a bit less than ideal (ideally GitHub wouldn't have seemingly malfunctioned), but does it make sense to add a project:<milestone> or some such label to the relevant issues in projects as a backup?
"project" may not be the right prefix but something that indicates the general effort that a given ticket is going out under, maybe?
It would protect from something like this happening again and also serve as good filtering for people looking through issues other ways.
It's also possible to bulk add by label so that might have reduced manual effort here
