Hello was wondering if the Exception Standard is something that is on the horizon in the next few months or so? I checked the wasmtime repo and see we have try_call support but not aure of the extens of the support.
My project might need me to interact with the exception standard
Cranelift support exceptions, but it hasn't been wired up to Wasmtime yet. The RFC for adding it has been accepted: https://github.com/bytecodealliance/rfcs/pull/36 It is blocked on someone finding the time to actually implement it. Also cc https://github.com/bytecodealliance/wasmtime/issues/3427
@Cwasi4wasm I'm planning on building the Wasmtime side of exception support soon! I indeed built the Cranelift half a few months ago (just released last week); I've been juggling this with a bunch of internal work on a deadline as well, and a two-week conference trip coming up soon, etc etc. But it's likely I'll be able to get to it over the next few months.
