Hi all -- in about 25 minutes the EGRAPHS 2023 workshop is going to start; I'm giving a talk at 2pm EDT (19:00 UTC) about Cranelift's aegraphs implementation. There is a free YouTube livestream here: YouTube - PLDI'23 EGRAPHS Sunday Magnolia18

The program is here: https://pldi23.sigplan.org/home/egraphs-2023#program

Research on and around e-graphs has recently exploded in both quantity and diversity. The data structure that powers SMT solvers is now seeing use in synthesis, optimization, and verification via equality saturation and related techniques. In addition to recent advances in the core data structure and techniques, researchers and practitioners are applying e-graphs to domains such as compilers, floating point accuracy, test generation, computational fabrication, automatic vectorization, deep learning compute graphs, symbolic computation, and more. The second EGRAPHS workshop will bring toge ...

I'll let the AV person know at the break, thanks

@Amanieu the AV folks are actively debugging it seems

stream was no good and I had to steal the projector HDMI directly; sorry all. Will post slides later at least!

To close the loop here: slides are up at https://cfallin.org/pubs/egraphs2023_aegraphs_slides.pdf. Unfortunately no recording of the talk exists; if I ever give it again in some context I'll be sure to make a recording :-)

Going from the slides alone, all the PLDI talks about egraphs sound really interesting!

Is there any way to access videos of them? The one livestream video has no sound.

The livestream setup had issues and they eventually shut off the setup; but I recorded a video later from home of my talk at least: Vimeo - ægraphs: Acyclic E-graphs for Efficient Optimization in a Production Compiler
