hey all, i've spent this week writing an embedding API for wasmtime in zig and i'm wondering if it's possible to transfer the repo to the bytecodealliance org on github?

I think this is something you'll want to bring up with BA's TSC. Currently though the hosting in the BA generally requires a BA member organization to be on the hook for maintenance, and we don't currently have any community-maintained wasmtime bindings at this time. If you're curious though we do mention community-supported bindings in the Wasmtime README

@.carmen, we talked about this a bit in the TSC today. If you're still interested in contributing this project to the BA, can you take a look at the hosted project document? The idea with that is to submit a PR explaining how, e.g., the project will be maintained going forward. Any thoughts on who else could help you maintain the project?
