Hey there.

I tried to find an answer in the repo, but it doesn't seem to be mentioned anywhere.
What's the motivation behind merging Cranelift into the wasmtime repository?

Is Cranelift not aiming to be a general purpose code generator anymore, but a wasm focused project?
